Terms of service

1. Overview

These Terms govern use of couverte.io and engagements with Couverté intelligence services. By submitting an inquiry or signing up, you agree.

"Couverté" means the business at couverte.io. "You" means the person or organisation engaging us.

2. Services

We provide menu intelligence, benchmarking, scoring, briefings, and platform access to hospitality operators — as described in proposals and product documentation.

Specific scope is set in your order or proposal unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3. Pricing and payment

Prices are in Euros (€) unless stated. Illustrative tiers may appear on the site; binding pricing is in your proposal.

Payment is by Stripe payment link, sent by email after we agree on scope. We do not collect payment card details on this website. Invoices are issued in Euros; VAT is applied where applicable. Subscriptions bill as agreed; access may be suspended after notice for non-payment.

4. Intellectual property

Methodology, scoring frameworks, and deliverables are Couverté property. You receive a licence to use findings inside your organisation as agreed.

You may not resell or publicly disclose deliverables without consent — internal use with your team and owners is allowed where agreed.

Website content and product assets remain Couverté property.

5. Confidentiality

Both sides protect confidential information. We do not disclose your operational data to third parties except where required by law or as needed to deliver the service under agreement.

We may reference sector and property type in aggregate — not your name — for product improvement.

6. Cancellation and refunds

Verdict refund policy: if you are not satisfied with the Verdict diagnostic, request a full refund within 7 days of delivery and we will refund the engagement fee in full. The refund window starts on the date the Verdict is delivered to you.

Other consultations: cancellation timing is set in your proposal. Work started may be non-refundable.

Subscriptions cancel at period end unless stated otherwise. Partial refunds only where required by law.

7. Limitation of liability

Recommendations rely on data you provide and available market information. We are not liable for operational outcomes from using or not using them.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, total liability for a claim is limited to fees paid for that engagement.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Disputes: courts of Barcelona, Spain — unless mandatory law says otherwise.
